QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS WITH SANDRA GRANATH
Can you tell us little bit about the company you work for? How come you started working for them?
I work as an inhouse sales representative at EJOT. Who develops and produce attachments for the construction and manufacturing industry. The company has a good reputation and I was headhunted by a former classmate who works for EJOT and today I’ve been working there for two years.
When did you start playing golf?
I have always had an interest in sports and the will to challenge myself, so when my father and brother introduced me to the game seven years ago I was instantly hooked. Then, I met my boyfriend who is a real golf nerd. I like that we share the same hobby, so we are able to go on golf trips together.
What has the game meant to you as a woman?
It has meant a lot. My life revolves around golf during the summer. It is fun to meet new friends and have the chance to socialize in a stress-free environment. I escape to the golf course to get away from a hectic schedule.
What things matter to you on the golf course?
To play well! I am only joking, at first, I only thought about lowering my hcp and every round was about improving my score. Now I’ve come to realize that it is impossible to play my best every time so instead I enjoy the company and the beautiful surroundings.
How has this last year been like for you on the golf course?
This past season was really special to me and my boyfriend since we became parents for the first time. Naturally I didn’t play a lot in the beginning of the season but at the end of the summer I started again and have managed to play a couple of rounds this fall. This of course has already got my longing for next season.
Your best golf tip?
Here is a golf tip to all of you who plan on taking a golf trip during next season. We have a summerhouse in Skåne which is a true golf paradise. My best tip is to book a golf weekend at Bjärehalvön where there is a lot of really nice courses to choose from. Bjäre GK and Torekov are two of my favorites.
What do you do when you don’t play golf?
I spend time with my friends and family and I also like to have little home project, something my boyfriend doesn’t like as much..
If you could choose to play any course in the world, which one would it be?
I would love to visit Black Mountain. I have only heard great things about this course and the fact that is founded by a Swede.
Your favorite clothing from Daily Sports?
It’s difficult to pick an item. The best thing about Daily Sports is that I can wear the clothes both off and on the golf course, but right now my two favorites are the Jaclyn Vest and the Jaclyn Jacket. I love the fit and the cozy lined pockets.
