How come you started playing golf?I started playing golf at Växjö GK when I was 21-years-old. Growing up in Växjö I also played a lot of basketball but after a knee injury I switched to golf. Unfortunately, I had to take a break from golf during a short period because I was travelling too much. I picked it up again as I started working at Askersunds GK, where I worked during the time my kids were growing up.
What has the game of golf meant to you as a woman?Golf has brought a lot of joy to my life. I have had the pleasure of both working in the golf business and playing golf for the past 24 years.
What is an important for factor for you on the golf course?I like to compete and challenge myself to get to the next level. I also love being outdoors and enjoy a good exercise and the beautiful surroundings.
Which is your best golf tip?Even though I don’t always practice it myself, my best golf tip is to play one shot at the time! And not get too worked up if you miss a shot. It’s never too late to turn your game around.
If you could choose to play any course in the world, which one would you pick?I consider myself to be one of the really fortunate ones to have had the pleasure of playing some of the world’s best courses. One of my all-time favorites is the Plantation CC in Venice, Southwest Florida.
Which are your favorite items from Daily Sports?My favorite items from Daily Sports are the dresses which will be available in next year’s summer and spring collection. I love to play golf in a dress.
